After checking in with miss Beckie – in the well appointed reception area, I strolled around the corner and lifted a pint of grog from the kitchen where the aroma of chocolate chip cookies was wafting through the fresh air in the spacious lounge.

So with a brew in one hand and 4 monster chocolate chips in the other, I made my way towards the video conference room and studio proper.

And the beasts that suddenly confronted me there left me frozen in my tracks. Although their shear size was a bit disconcerting at first, I soon found out that they really, really like cookies. Which pretty much makes them family in my book.

Then it hit me – you don’t have to produce work in L.A. to enjoy the company of fuzzy critters in the workspace.

So stop by any time and check out the bull-pen, the inviting artists’ suites and the giant – albeit quite ravenous – jackalopes.

The Pittsburgh Police were called to the Farimont Hotel at 1:30am this morning to address concerns of guests and staff that there was some kind of tremor or earthquake rattling the building. Fire, Electric and Gas crews were also summoned to the scene to check for the source of the disturbance.

There were similar reports at the Marriott on Penn Avenue, and the Rivers Casino on the North Shore.

“It was rather like a pip-pop body-rock, except the whole bloody building was shaking,” said Montague Hume, one of the guests at the Fairmont.

After an hour of checking for every possible source of the rumble the Emergency Crews followed the shaking all the way across town, and ended up at 4 Smithfield Street.

The building was dark except for UPPERCUT STUDIOS on the 10th floor – which itself appeared to be “rocking ass,” according to one witness.

To the relief of the city’s residents it turned out that it was merely backyards a-bumpin’, music a-thumpin‘ and that somehow the roof was, indeed, on fire.
